TNSRE has a page budget as any other journal. Therefore, if we do not control the number of pages per manuscript, fewer manuscripts will be published in a given year, and there will be delays in publishing accepted papers.
Authors are instructed to keep the total size of their manuscript in mind. The current IEEE - TNSRE policy assigns 10 fully formatted pages for a paper. Above these limits, the authors will be required to pay the mandatory page charge of $ 250.00/page for any pages more than ten.
Please note that initial submissions must be less that 10 fully formatted pages or they will be not be reviewed.
On occasion TNSRE will accept longer papers, but they require prior approval from the Editor in Chief (Paul Sajda, manager@gmail.com)
As an approximate guide for you to estimate the number of fully formatted pages from your review manuscript (double spaced, single column), use the following equation:
- Divide by 3 the number of typewritten pages.
- Divide by 3 the number of figures.
- Divide by 4 the number of pages for figure captions.
- Divide by 4 the number of tables.
- Divide by 6 the number of reference pages.
- Add up all of the above.
